Survey Exclusions

Due to health and safety reasons, the areas listed below are typically excluded from asbestos management surveys.

However, if you specifically require any of these areas to be surveyed and you can provide safe access, please amend as required (otherwise you can leave them all as "Exclude from survey").

Please include the total number of buildings and floors. Here are some examples of recent posts:

  • 1 bedroom flat on the 4th floor.

  • 4 bed, 2 bath detached house with rear extension and a double garage.

  • Two blocks of flats from ground floor to 6th floor with 20 flats in each block. Externally there are two bin stores and an underground carpark.

  • A small ground floor retail unit with offices above on the 1st floor.

  • Large office building. 14 floors with basement and sub-basement levels. Plant rooms also located on the roof.

Asbestos Refurbishment Surveys

This type of survey is intrusive and required before any refurbishment or renovation works are carried out. The survey should be targeted to all areas where works are planned.
